Wolf Tooth Karv Grips 6.5mm Purple Reduces Hand Fatigue and Numbness

I have an old Brahma bar on my mountain bike and my rubber grips were breaking down and becoming sticky. I decided to try these and was pleasantly surprised. My hands are large but not huge. These grips gave me the right diameter for a secure grip and provide the right amount of cushioning without being squishy soft. The silicone foam has just the right amount of tack for me. I have another pair of grips that I use on the bar end sections of the one piece bar. I wet the bar and inside of the grips with a mild soap solution to make installation easier. These grips look like foam grips that used to be a cheap but short term option. Once you touch them, however. you realize these are a completely different animal.;

I returned these once I had struggled to get them on my handlebars, then found that the grip had little cushioning.;

These grips are the perfect diameter and length for me. The silicone material allows me to ride with or without gloves with no slipping hands. I used alcohol based hand sanitizer to install them, and they have never slipped in months of use. After about six months of use, wear is minimal.;
