Burley Moose Trailercycle Rack with Light Bracket: Black

I love the product a solid rack that I use to secure a pack for myself or the Kazoo Trailercycle. I bought this as an extra so I could have one on each of my family's adult bikes. The trailer cycle attaches with a bolt in the center of the rack so I'm excited for the possibility of some warranty voiding modifications that bolt securely to the rack rather than strapping on like you might on a normal rack. Installation isn't too bad as long as you watch the YouTube video but make sure you have a hacksaw ready to cut the stays.

As much as I love the rack the packaging of the item I got was sketchy. Inside the amazon box was an open (unsealed) plastic bag containing the rack and a small heat sealed bag containing the stays/screws zip tied to the rack. One of the zip ties was broken (inside the unsealed bag) so the parts bag was only loosely attached to the rack. There was no instruction manual (fortunately I still had my original manual). The date of manufacture on my rack was 2019 (purchased 04/2021) so clearly these have sitting around for a while. Do yourself a favor and order directly from the Burley website. The rack is confusing enough to install your first time without worrying that all of the parts might not be there.;

I bought this so my daughter could use both of our bikes The rack is great just like the original one it even has a plate for mounting reflectors or brake lights. The only reason I deducted one star is because one of the M6 bolts came with a flat head Allan head leaving it impossible to torque to specs(I use a torque wrench on every single nut and bolt thatÔøΩs on my kids toys) It just wasnÔøΩt fun having to go to the hardware store and purchase a stainless steel bolt which believe it or not is $1.50 before we could take a ride.
