          Love this saddle. I bought one for my MTB which needed a new saddle, and found it so comfortable, bought another for my road bike.;

          I have owned several of the Fly Ti foam models, and I love that seat. I did not realize this was the gel model until I received it, but I decided to keep it and give it a try. After two rides, I don’t think I like it as much as the foam padded version. The cover of this gel version is also not as nice as the foam version, looks more like vinyl and less like leather, more of a plastic feel. I would imagine the gel version will last longer than the foam version, but the foam version is more comfortable in my opinion. Still, this seat is more comfortable than most others I’ve tried.;

          Last January I bought a new Trek FX 6, then I retired in March and got into riding big time. While I love riding I was constantly plagued with a sore seat. After 25 miles I was in agony. Got the padded shorts, the chamois butter, kept riding and it seemed to improve a bit, but was always there. The pain was not chafing, it was deep in the muscles around my sit bones. I also would develop stiffness in my inner thigh muscles and had to stop and stretch now and then. i always felt that no saddle was going to make that big a difference, I just had to tough it out until my butt got adjusted.

          Finally, I decided I had to try something different. Ordered a Terry Fly Ti saddle and tried it out, not really expecting it to make that much difference. Boom! I was wrong! The relief was dramatic and instant. Even though I was still sore from my ride the day before, I did a hard 30 mile run and did not have to stop once because of saddle issues. Not even sure why it made such a difference. I guess it just fits my sit bones better. Happy camper!;
