Sunrace RD-RX Rear Derailleur 9/10sp Short

I bought this a little over a year ago for $14.06. At the price I paid it's an absolute steal. It's nice and light weight shifts are crisp and precise. Used with Shimano HG-93 chain with Shimano 9 speed cassette.;

I bought this to replace an aging 9 speed Shimano Ultegra RD-6500. The springs had gotten weak and it caused poor shifting. I replaced the chain with a Shimano new chain..a new Shimano 9 speed cassette and new shift cables. I was still having shifting problems until I replaced the derailleur with this one. My old Shimano model had long been out of production. I was not so sure this would cure my problems but it did and I got it a great price on Amazon... much lower than it is currently. It is a polished work of art too and it is of excellent quality it appears. Time will tell but it works very well and I have no reservations about my purchase.
UPDATE: Dec.16 2015. It is still performing well as the miles accumulate. Still no missed shifts or any other problems. At least equal to Shimano quality in the price range. I believe the finish is superior as well. It is obviously "playing well" with all the associated Shimano components it is working with.;
