Could not for the life of me get this thing to shift into big ring as others have mentioned. But it wasn't so much too much spring tension. For me the tip of the spring was bumping into the inner body of the derailleur. Shaving down the tip of the spring gave things more clearance so the derailleur can actually actuate far enough like it's supposed to.;
