Thi is the cassette that was on my Trek 3 series from the factory. I ordered this to replace the OE cassette. I have replaced Shimano cassettes before and had great luck. This SRAM right out of the box felt cheap and flimsy to me. I know these are durable because my first one lasted 10 years but I still ordered the Shimano. The return policy from Amazon makes this possible. One more thing is judging from the box the SRAM came in and the way it was packed I think it had been sold before. I took the time and repackaged it the way it was supposed to be so the next buyer won’t have any issues.;

This works well with my Shimano drive train fit my cassette great but needed a spacer to get set up which I expected.

Teeth seem well cut and shifts smoothly and precise. I ride mostly groomed trails so I’m not too hard on my parts but I don’t see any reason this shouldn’t last as long as the rest of my drivetrain components.;

I was changing cassettes on my 1x7 and the most common range I was finding online was the 14x28t. With this 12x32t I get more range on both ends. Perfect for my setup. Combined with a 39t at the front it truly gives you a lot of options for terrain even if its a 7 speed.;

My wife's beach cruiser had the standard gears. That didn't work for her. She needed more space between them. I spent a bunch of time searching all over for a set of gears that would work. These were the only ones. Most gear sets have an extreme low first but then they jump back to the rest being just like what she had. One caution. This is 'freehub.' Her bike had 'freewheel.' Research the difference. I had to buy a different back rim with the freehub in order to make this work but it was worth it!;

I like this cassette because it is lighter in weight than other cassettes that I have.;
