This is great to use temporarily until you can get a metal one screwed on. Or it is great if this is your best option. Once in awhile your leg might bump it though and you need to move it back so that it is not in your way. It has never fallen off and no water bottle has ever fallen out when I have used this. I just sometimes have to adjust it quickly.;

This thing broke on me during my first ride. It was mounted vertically. The bottle would shift from side to side and I guess my foot would hit. I'm not giving it a horrible rating because I think it can work just fine if it was secure and not prone to anything hitting it.

I wonder if it would eventually break though from putting in and pulling out water bottles frequently. I'm going to stick with metal cages from now on. At least I made use of the velcro straps by strapping my spare tube onto my frame;

Secures well to the bicycle and doesn’t seem to move if you position it in the correct spots. Has foam that is on the bicycle side to prevent slipping and sliding along with protection from scratches.;
