These really are *small* clamps.

For reference I ride a wabi classic and these clamps fit really tightly on the seat stays. Took some creative work to get them secured. A little worried about how the paint will look after a while but we'll see.;

You will need a second set of hands holding everything in place but this is exactly what I needed for my bike rack so I wouldn't have to buy a whole second rack.;

i have an older bike without the welded on nuts or threaded pipes whatever you call them and today's racks don't work like they used to those were sturdy made of steel a little heavier but stronger much stronger. and you could mount them on any bike. the new aluminium racks will hold no more than 25 lbs and if you try to get a good tight nut or bolt you risk easily stripping the aluminium screws or rack itself plus they are all one piece not hinged on the struts and can't be folded flat so i don't like the racks and i don't agree with how any of the newer stuff is made but as is these worked for me well so it is what it is;
