The Race Face Aeffect crank is designed to handle aggressive trail riding at XC crank weight and an attractive pricepoint. Features the CINCH system with its interchangeable spider options and a 24mm EXI interface spindle.

  • Direct mount chainline: 51mm / 57.5mm (Flipped Ring)
  • 2X Cinch spider chainline: 49.5mm
  • Boost 2X Cinch spider chainline: 52.5mm
  • Crank arms forged from 6066 aluminum
  • Compatible with all CINCH direct mount rings and spiders to easily convert between existing chainring standards including: direct mount, 1x, 2x with and without bash, and 3x configurations
  • 24mm EXI spindle compatible with Race Face X-Type bottom brackets or Hollowtech II compatible bottom brackets
  • CINCH removable spiders and direct mount rings require a 20-tooth ISIS cup BB tool for removal and installation

I’m a short rider and the OEM 175mm just never felt right. Almost bought a 170mm when I found out some companies make a 165mm. The Hightower already came with the Aeffect cranks so I already knew the quality was good. Slapped them on and I could already tell the difference. Less pedal strikes on rocky sections easier to turnover the cranks on climbs faster in getting my feet to the correct position for railing multiple turns. If you have had that feeling that your 175mm cranks are hindering your riding give these a try. Unfortunately for me I have 2 more bikes that I need to switch over 😩😵‍💫;
